Welcome to Brume. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you and the company behind Brume regarding your use of our website at brume.com (the “Site”), and your purchase of any products or services we offer.
The Site is operated by GC One Trading, a registered company referred to in these Terms as “Brume,” “we,” “us,” and “our”. References to “you” or “your” mean the person browsing the Site, placing an order, or otherwise engaging with our services.
By browsing the Site or placing an order, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at brume.com/terms. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
1. Who can use the site
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site. The Site is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to use the Site or our products for any unlawful purpose, and not to do anything that could damage, disable, or interfere with the Site’s operation.
We may refuse service, restrict access, or cancel orders at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been breached.
2. About our products
Brume sells consumer water filtration products, including the Brume faucet filter and related accessories. We do our best to display product images, colours, and descriptions accurately, but we cannot guarantee that what appears on your screen will perfectly match the physical product, particularly due to variations in monitor and device displays.
All product descriptions, specifications, and prices are subject to change without notice. We may discontinue any product at any time. Availability of specific products may be limited by region or quantity.
Where a product description references benefits to skin, hair, or wellbeing, these statements describe the general experience reported by users of similar filtration products and are not medical claims. Brume products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
3. Prices and payment
Prices on the Site are shown in the currency relevant to your delivery region and include applicable taxes where required by law (such as UK VAT, EU VAT via IOSS, or GCC VAT). Shipping costs, if any, are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time, including after an order has been placed. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may contact you to confirm the corrected price or cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Payment is taken at the time you place your order, through our payment processors. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment method used is yours and that you are authorised to use it.
4. Orders and acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products you have selected at the prices listed. Your order is accepted only when we send you an order confirmation email. Until that confirmation is sent, no contract exists between us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including but not limited to situations where:
- The product is unavailable or mispriced
- We are unable to verify your payment or shipping details
- We suspect the order is fraudulent or placed for resale without authorisation
- We cannot ship to your address due to legal, logistical, or regulatory reasons
If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will refund the full amount paid.
5. Shipping and delivery
We ship to the countries listed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and depend on destination, carrier, and customs clearance. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, carriers, weather, or other factors outside our reasonable control.
Title and risk of loss for the products pass to you when the products are delivered to the address you provided. For orders shipped under Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) terms, any applicable import VAT and duties are included in the price you paid at checkout. For other shipments, the recipient may be responsible for additional import charges levied by their local customs authority.
If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we will work with you to resolve it.
6. Returns and refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Our full returns process, eligibility criteria, and timeframes are set out in our Returns Policy at brume.com/returns. Please review it before requesting a return.
In summary: unused products in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or was sent in error. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
This returns policy is in addition to any statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including (where applicable) the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including the Brume name, logo, product imagery, photography, copy, video, design, and code, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any part of it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
You may share content from the Site on personal social media as long as Brume is credited and the content is not modified or used to misrepresent the brand.
8. User content
If you submit reviews, comments, photographs, suggestions, or other content to us, whether through the Site, social media, email, or any other channel, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display that content for marketing and operational purposes, with credit where reasonable.
You confirm that any content you submit is your own original work, does not infringe the rights of any third party, and is not unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or misleading. We may remove or edit submitted content at our discretion.
9. Third-party services and links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services, and our operations involve third-party providers (such as payment processors, fulfilment partners, and analytics tools). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third parties, and your interactions with them are governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we take reasonable care to keep the Site secure and our products of good quality, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site.
Our products are designed for the filtration of municipal tap water for ordinary household use. They are not intended for use with water of unknown safety or for medical or industrial purposes. Always follow the installation and maintenance instructions provided.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with these Terms, your use of the Site, or your purchase of any product is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special losses, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, regardless of how they arise. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brume, its directors, employees, agents, and partners from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site or our products.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any matter arising from them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, except where applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
14. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
15. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, and any other policies referenced on the Site, form the entire agreement between you and Brume regarding your use of the Site and any purchase you make. They supersede any prior agreements or communications on the same subject.
